I wanted to talk through AM’s spellcasting, just so I have a good sense of it both from a mechanical standpoint but also so that it can get roleplayed correctly.
The spell is Sense Cryptesthesia from Street Grimoire, and it sounds like it acts like Clairvoyance just with the additional benefit of having Tetrachromatic Vision (and more Drain).
You can move Clairvoyance around with a Complex Action. I’m going to presume that the target of the spell can do this (Mato in this case) rather than depending on the magician (AM) to move it. I’m also going to presume that Mato can basically position the spell so that it basically takes the same perspective as his normal vision, e.g. where Mato’s head/eyes are. (This also presumes that the Cryptesthesia replaces Mato’s normal vision, like Clairvoyance does.) If any of these assumptions are incorrect, let’s call that out.
What I’m thinking about is that Mato doesn’t know how to get into the apartment building yet. I don’t know if he’s going to pick a lock or tailgate behind someone else entering (or exiting) or climb up a fire escape or ____ or ____, etc. I’m trying to get a sense of what this would be like if he doesn’t have his normal vision but instead is trying to do things via remote control (of sorts) via Cryptesthesia. Now he can pause and reorient the Cryptesthesia with a Complex Action, but that puts him on a slight delay where he moves, recenters, moves, recenters, etc. Again, this is as much about RP as anything else.
Mato’s in a unique position where he can somewhat ignore his vision and rely on his radar sensors for things like walking down a hallway without bumping into things or crossing the street without getting hit by a bus, but his radar sensors aren’t going to work on actions requiring fine motor skills, like lock picking. That’s where I’m hoping that the Cryptesthesia can basically position itself to replicate his normal vision, only better since it’s tetrochromatic now.

Looks correct as far as I am concerned. Theoretically, you could walk in Third person perspective like a video game.
The building is not hard to get into – a very basic lock and apathetic people, letting in anyone who buzzes at the entrance.

Separately, tetrachromatic vision is on Mato’s To Do list. It might be much, much later because he’ll need to upgrade his ‘ware (from Used to New) in order to free up the Essence to make tetrachromatic vision possible, but this experience will likely sell him on the value of it.

I’m also going to assume that level of apathy extends to security inside the building (elevators not needing key cards, etc.).
Is AM still sustaining Mato’s Charisma boost too or did she drop that in favor of Cryptesthesia? I’m going to assume that both are sustained until told otherwise.

I’m actually not quite sure where we are in relation to sunrise, and whether’s Jawsey’s spirit was summoned right before it (and is about to depart) or right after it. At this time of year (Nov 6) sunrise is almost exactly at 7am in Seattle.
