Hmm wonder how that works for adepts, do they draw mana?May 20, 2019 at 3:04 pm #18986
And here is a question, how do dryads work in space?May 20, 2019 at 4:19 pm #18989
In general, only powers that cause drain are drawing active mana – but of course the Horrors could be more sensitive to disturbances in the mana field… (i.e. have super high assensing)May 22, 2019 at 9:51 am #19062
Annoying thing is that the character I’m seeing unfold in front of me for this so what I had in mind when I first came up with BronweanMay 22, 2019 at 11:07 am #19067
Heck, I thought it was Bronwean.May 22, 2019 at 11:18 am #19068
No it’s the end of the program of genetic engineering the army of God started (they wanted elves but got dryads then massively genetically engineered them, breed thousands of them and set them loose to bring the word. Of god to the masses. At the end of a gun) they ended up wandering desolate places like Mars. Thing everyone thinks they are lovely. Any one who knew batshit will feel sadMay 22, 2019 at 11:18 am #19069May 22, 2019 at 11:25 am #19070
I did not smash her up. Alyce is just checking to see if she needs help.May 22, 2019 at 11:28 am #19071
All you have to do is tell her that you are uninjured.
Is your character Martian or speaks with a Martian accent?May 22, 2019 at 11:37 am #19072
She speaks Martian accent, very clear and no nazal sound due to the breather tubes you have to put up your nose to get oxygenMay 23, 2019 at 6:26 am #19113May 23, 2019 at 9:15 am #19118
I’m not sure – Isaint came from the outside and opened the hatch on the lowest point so he wouldn’t immediately flood the cabin
But we probably imagined different things while describing and possibly crosspostingMay 23, 2019 at 10:23 am #19119
I imagine that we have done just as Jack has said, but there might have been a lot of confusion in such an incident and different people would have different ideas of what happened. I believe that all of the living, both injured and not injured, are now out of the shuttle.May 23, 2019 at 11:14 am #19121
And you’re only a few hundred meters from the shore so I’m guessing Alyce’s Inability to see it is due to the range on her artificial sensors???May 23, 2019 at 11:37 am #19122
That would be correct. I believe that the range of both the radar and ultrasound sensors is less than that. The description of the radar indicates a 20m radius and that of the ultrasound does not list a radius but I cannot see it going out far enough to see the shore. Am I correct?May 23, 2019 at 11:51 am #19123
Yes 😁 … but everyone around you can see it fine and if you deploy a drone with visual sensors and a range finder you’ll be able to see it too!

ultrasound has 50m reach (core p.174f)May 23, 2019 at 2:40 pm #19133
I could do a drone, yes, but she is fighting against her fears of being lost in the ocean and is trying to cope by focusing on helping others.May 23, 2019 at 7:17 pm #19148
All good, waves are a bit rough, not a great place to be launching delicate drones!May 24, 2019 at 2:26 am #19154
Talking from practical experience of the those waters. We can see the cliffs if we are 200 metres from the shore. Getting ashore is going to be character building.
