Rebbeca replies ”Let’s not tip our hand too much, we book a hotel room and hire them for Preston bachelor’s party. Don’t be overly eager to hire Fixy and Pixy… Try hiring some other slut, find out she’s busy then try them…
The two also need to be properly slotted before they head back regardless of how useful their answers to our questions are. Clients that just talk are too memorable.” She looks at Al and Preston ”Looks like you’ll have to take one for the team. Is that reasonable? Don’t want to assume anything on your relationship status. Perhaps even gossip with them in a way that does not invokes suspicion, be a fan of our stud star or something.”

“Like I said earlier, I’m a terrible liar. At least for the big things, I just am not good at delivering those lines that pull people in. I get the principle, I can say the lines, I don’t choke … I just can’t sell them well. Someone has to be pretty terrible at reading people, or pretty inebriated, for me to con them. Professionals like this? No way.”
* Gamma: It is the memory of that kid’s face when he saw his uncle’s car explode. If I didn’t see that whenever I tried to hustle people it might go better.
“What I AM good at is just sliding along, letting people make assumptions, perhaps saying a bit here and there to nudge them in the right direction, getting a read on how they read me and working with that … Put me in a large bachelor party and I could probably slide in, have everyone assuming I know the groom from some other aspect of his life, and mingle all evening without being busted. But I don’t think that sliding along would get enough information in this situation. So you will have to be the prime talker.”
“One option would be that I play bashful nerd, living out his fantasies but not saying too much in detail, and you play … I don’t know, consultant? Lifestyle coach? Something like that maybe, and make with the chit-chat. People tend to like you, hopefully they will too, especially when you tell me to give them a truly huge tip, while giving them a wink to show that you know you are helping them screw me financially. I can absolutely play along as the flustered nerd who is overwhelmed by the situation.”
* Monkey: I should show a little more pride here, what is Becky going to think of me?!?
* Coleman: If we get the information she’ll think I’m a good professional teammate.
“The other option I see is to be pretty close to honest with them. Get them secured in the room, I jam wireless. We show them the footage from the bedroom — imply that he had a bedroom camera, not an entire second security system. Then we — by which I mean you — imply that we blame them for the whole thing and think that they masterminded it. Start threatening them with dire consequences if they don’t tell us what they have done with him — you might have to show just how deadly you are first? Or go the Con route, make like you think they set up his kidnapping, and you are offering a very large reward for his quiet return. ”
“Either way, they don’t have him, so either to protect themselves or in hopes of making some profit, hopefully they offer up the people who actually hired them. Then we somehow have to put the fear of dragons into them for a bit so that they don’t go and squeal right away. Or we find a way to keep them out of circulation for a couple of days — I’m sure I could get my hands on some interesting drugs if needed.“

Al nearly drove straight into the car ahead of them, swerving around them at the last minute with a blast of his horn. Quickly regaining his composure, he listened to Preston’s counter-proposal. Thank goodness for that.
He said, “Either way, Precious, I am surprised at you. Now I don’t know if shadowrunners got diversity awareness trainin’, but the ally in me finds yer assumptions problematic. Seriously, what makes ya think that only a man can service these young professionals? Seems ta me like if someone’s gotta take one fer the team, yer hat goes inna ring with ever’one else’s. We can excuse Lily on account of her tender years.”
A fresh cigarette materialized in his mouth, and his Zippo did the same in hand. Lit up and inhaled deeply. Vampire dens and world-ending rituals he could handle, but this was dangerous. But Preston had laid the groundwork.
“Anyhoo, both o’ Preston’s plays keeps us in better control o’ the situation. Gittin’ all nekkid an’ so forth, sheee-it, folks git killed lettin’ they guard down thataway. Or lose a damned kidney. The Sex Coach an’ the Virgin’s an okay story. But jist gittin’ ’em inna room an’ turnin’ the screws is neater and quicker. They’s jist a couple o’ whores, don’t have ta be a major challenge. But either way, even if they go ta the date all smooth-like, ya still need me an Lily outside ta deal with whatever security they bring with ’em. Higher-end ladies like that, usually got someone waitin’ out onna street in case the John gits nasty.”
It all sounded reasonable. He didn’t feel like getting into his personal situation – especially since he didn’t really understand it himself.May 6, 2019 at 5:59 pm #18512
Preston slaps his forehead.
* Gamma: Becky was not the only one making assumptions …
* Oleg: I may never live down that Al thought about that and I didn’t.
“Yah, that would make things a LOT simpler if Becky can tease the info out of them. I could be off in the corner as ‘security’ or whatever. Becky may be memorable, but if she does this low key enough they won’t even know they’ve been pumped.”May 7, 2019 at 2:29 am #18515
She shrugs ”I can’t do it, I have a contact that can. Let’s solve the problem differently, getting you laid was just a courtesy. We tell them that we were hired to find Alex and that if we do not find him then the police gets involved. Such an occasion is very bad for the prostitutes, and even for the Crimson Crush that perhaps were used by some shadowrunners without knowing how much shit they may face.
The last thing these two need is to face the justice system that will find something illegal they did. Perhaps they can even be charged with rape providing Alex was intoxicated, and drugged and even lost his consciousness. Find some law geek to advise me on the legality of their situation, or where I can get away with exaggerating, and I’ll just tell it to their faces, straight, tough and honest. “

Al breathed an inward sigh of relief at the new plan. One potential headache avoided. He wasn’t sure the joygirls would be more afraid of police than they were of their recent employers, but that didn’t matter – he was sure Becky had the wherewithal to get them to say what they knew about the kidnappers.
“Sounds like a plan ta me. Pick a hotel an’ I’ll drop ya, then me an’ Lily can go take care o’ shepherdin’ ’em to yer little powwow.”May 7, 2019 at 1:15 pm #18523
It turned out to be no trouble to book both a hotel and the two elves through the site. There was no sign that anyone was following the two when they left the Heron.
So Preston, Becky and Lily had enough time to prepare whatever they wanted in the room.May 7, 2019 at 5:17 pm #18527
And Al had enough time to smoke a lot of cigarettes as he waited out on the street in the Gov. Just because they hadn’t spotted any tails on the girls from the Heron didn’t mean there weren’t any. The Crush could have tags on them, or simply be sending someone to keep an eye on the date from another direction. Or they could already have assets in place. Or the kidnappers could have eyes on the girls. Or….or….or….
So he sat in the van and read everything that Lily had stolen from the house about the Mars maniacs. And then he fired up his Fairlight and started digging in the matrix as well…..May 7, 2019 at 5:27 pm #18529
Preston had started pulling up legal information during the ride, and paused it just long enough to check into the hotel and change his clothes and face to look more like a moderately successful corp spider of around his age. He made sure to download a broad enough array of legal information to not make it appear like he was planning a kidnapping using joygirls.
* Oleg: It is well past time that I looked at the law more carefully, given my careers to date.
* Monkey: Don’t get caught = don’t worry about the law!
* Gamma: I was bitter against the law for years after being ejected from the policing program
* Coleman: Information can be a weapon. Time to get some caff and get studying
* Eliza: But before putting hours into that, we should talk about talking
* Gamma: I can talk and make caff at the same time
While he got the rooms caff machinery running — it was decent, although not close to his own kit — he mentioned to the others
“Aside from studying up on the law, I had a couple of other thoughts on issues to maybe follow up on. Basically I’d present pieces of the issue to a couple of contacts — ‘if moving to space quietly, how would one handle the finances?’ and ‘we think these ‘people’ are actually anthro-drones being rigged or maybe run by an AI, have you seen them around the party scene?'” Not enough info to lead back to our case, but just possibly we might find another thread to pull at. Any objections to that? And are there any angles you could run down with your own contacts?”
Once he had his caff in hand he settled himself into a comfortable chair, told Becky “ARO me when they are close, I’ll be swotting up on the laws, to hopefully fill in any gaps on what you can pick up from contacts.” And then he sank into blissful VR and started absorbing information as fast as his amplified mind could manage.May 8, 2019 at 8:20 am #18542
Rebbeca waits in the room dressed as a dominatrix and quickly ties up the new girls. She slaps their rear with a symbolic gesture to be painful, but not very painful. A roleplay rather than an assault. Then she commands them to watch. ”Go see how naughty you were… and then tell me what kind of punishment you deserve.” she says with a grin on her face, an evil sadistic grin. Still, the dim lights, and background music and her clothing makes the atmosphere sort of sexy in a kinky domination manner.
She shows them the tried starting with the point of the private party with Alex, pausing at places to congratulate on their technique, and strokes their back in a reward. Then in a few points, she decides that they gave a glance to the exit, or did something that lessened the erotic effect, and she slaps them in return. Unorthodox, strange, but she enjoys the experience. Still, within the things you are allowed to do to expensive prostitutes when you pay that extra kinky fee.
Things get darker when she shows them the part where Alex is being kidnapped after they leave. Rebbeca says “No the whip is not enough for this kind of sin… not at all. She takes out the katana, and with a face filled with malice. she expertly passes the sharp blade inches away from Fixy’s face.
”Now my young and sexy nymphs, what is the right punishment for drugging a RICH movie star, and assisting kidnapping him. Hint… it involves this phallic object. Not a sword, but a Katana, a naked, sexy Katana of refinement, accuracy, and elegance. Kind of like yourself…
She lets the two of them observe the beautiful, but fully functional decorated Katana, and let the gravity of their situation sinks in. The fluffy cuffs that they are bounded with are very much real, and the Katana is real, and the video is real.
After a short while, she adds in a playful link between seduction and menace.
”Care to tell me your side o the story? Perhaps if I am convinced that you are truthful enough, I will go back to the whip… Its effects are less final…”May 8, 2019 at 11:18 am #18548
Preston’s body was quietly slumped in an arm chair in the corner, gradually starting to sweat as the display picked up — even monitoring through the camera and speakers on his deck, it was intense. In the matrix he scanned the women for
* Oleg: She is toying with them like a cat with a mouse.
* Monkey: Meow!
* Gamma: The intensity of emotions is hard to sit here and witness.
* Coleman: It makes sense, by starting them off with ‘the usual’ and then slowly making them realize how screwed they are and bringing .up the terror level, she will hopefully have them emotionally off-balance.
* Eliza: If they are not terrified, they are made of firmer stuff than I.
In the matrix, however, he was busy. Once the women had shed what they were going to shed, he targeted links or any possible bugs and turned off cameras and microphones. Then he scanned for any electronics they still had with them, either inside them or in jewelry perhaps, and marked those up and prepared to disable them when Becky started to bend the play towards the darker.May 8, 2019 at 11:56 am #18551

Lily felt bemused…she would be the first to admit that her education prior to her escape had been engineered around a very specific goal but since then she had done her utmost to remedy her lack of understanding of the real world. She knew that she didn’t get it right all the time, or even most of the time, but she was trying damn hard… and then there was this, immortals, and the others where blithely accepting that they were an established reality without a second thought. Dragons she could just about wrap her head around, as much as anyone could, but metahumans that had been alive for millennia? To have survived so long spoke of immense power and knowledge, and yet Alex had been drugged and carried off as if all of that counted for nothing. So they weren’t infallible (if they really did exist) and that was some comfort at least. And it was down to them to drag him out of the mess that he’d landed in…
“Do you want me to contact Silk and see what information she has on these wannabe space farers?”
[Wednesday September 7, 2078; Outside the Upscale Hotel, Seattle Metroplex]
Lily was watching for tails or their prostitute guest trying to make an impromptu exit from the scene that Becky had planned for them. She understood the necessity of interrogating them and had been grateful that Becky had taken on the task. Her training had included intimidation techniques but her limited understanding of real world context made that a tricky proposition…that and limiting any damage she might inadvertently do to frail mortal forms she admitted to herself…

The session started well enough and the two prostitutes did play along well – until the video started. Their eyes widened, but they didn’t speak – only when the katana came out, Fixi cried out: “Drek, banana. You hear me? BANANA! This is not funny.” At once acrid smoke began to rise from the play-cuffs.
Paxi said: “Frag me, they have a jammer active. I can’t reach Richy.”
With a snap and a grunt Fixi got to her feet, stepping away from Becky. Her right cuff smoked and a red welt showed where the girl had cleanly ripped apart the restraint, but injured her wrist.
“This session is over. Put that sword away or I’ll burn off your fragging face! YOU HEAR ME?”
The girl was clearly beginning to panic while backing away as far as she could from Becky.
Meanwhile preston noticed that an internal commlink had been activated – and dutifully squelched the outgoing calls.
Al, meanwhile, had found a bit about the would be colonists.
Their main argument was, that the Ares mars colony was by far not enough and that it was time to be proactive in terraforming the red planet. By their philosophy, space travel was something dwarves and elves where uniquely suited for, due to their long livespan but also to their resistance to aging which also translated to a restistance to cancer from hard radiation. A claim that Al could understand for dwarves but not particularly for elves.
The group had managed to gain some rich backers, but there was surprisingly little information on how they wanted to live on mars – or transform it into a habitable world. There were some unconfirmed rumors about nano-technology and about them being actually funded by a mega corp, but no-one in the shadows seemed to think much of this group. A curious cross reference does mention the Monad Exodus project that is supposed to launch in two years, taking with it quite a lot of the CFD infected people.May 8, 2019 at 4:35 pm #18562
Rebbeca places the sword aside and walks toward them showing that she is unarmed ” I tried to make it an enjoyable investigation and learn what I need in order to rescue Alex. I wanted to go easy on you, keep you entertained, and hoped to cum once or twice in the process. I made an effort for our mutual comfort. Perhaps the Katana was too much, I am truly sorry to scare you so much. In my profession, it takes a lot to excite me.
Now since you kind of killed my buzz, I will keep it short. You are unlikely to harm me, I have super-human reflexes, agility, and strength. the door is guarded and there are more of my kind nearby. The door is locked, your link is jammed, and even if you could get your bodyguard – all he can do is get himself hurt. My job is to find Alex, I do not intend to harm you but you need to play along.
Tell me what you know about that gig, who paid you what did they look like, how did it go, what kind of toxin did you give him and who were the people in the party. I will listen intently to what you say, observe with my very keen and super-natural senses to verify that you are being truthful, and then I will tip you handsomely and you will forget the fact that I am a professional, and just remember how smoking hot I look in leather. “May 8, 2019 at 6:12 pm #18583
The girl held out her injured hand, palm downward, revealing a small gland at its base, aiming in Becky’s general direction:
“Not one step closer. It was Laes. I think. I don’t really know. But it was probably the same stuff they gave Paxi and me. I don’t remember what happened and who those people were. All I know is that we got booked for a bachelor party for a threesome. We came to ourselves when the auto-cab delivered us back to the club the next morning. The credsticks were there, so we didn’t make a big deal out of it.”May 8, 2019 at 11:38 pm #18589
While they talk, Rebbeca keeps her distance but assenses the ladies and carefully observes them. She especially looks for augmentations, perhaps a nephritic screens or other augments to help with toxins. Figuring out, they are quite useful for prostitutes.
She replies empathetically ”The rape drug… It is a shame, how much did it erase, what do you remember about the party?
Spoiler:May 9, 2019 at 4:10 pm #18603
“I remember nothing of the evening – nothing at all. Eight hours gone.”
Fixi replied, still showing panic on her face.
The assensing revealed that she had comparatively gentle mods suffusing her whole body – probably bioware affecting her muscles as well as a modification that likely was a chemical gland in her lower arm.
The other girl had definitely cyberware around her brain as well as modification in her mouth.May 9, 2019 at 5:34 pm #18611
What about you Pixi, any of that night? Also What kind of modification do you have in your mouth? she says curious, andMay 10, 2019 at 11:01 am #18630
Paxi shrugged and said: “Take of those cuffs first and stop jamming my headware or I’ll show you in gory detail what I have in my mouth.”
After being free, she replied: “Same. No memories of the last nine hours. Only a filled credstick and no injuries – all in all not a bad evening, considering the alternatives.
We are going now. If you want to know who booked us, talk to Richy.”May 10, 2019 at 11:55 am #18637
Preston speaks through his deck’s speakers, leaving his voice flat, mechanical, and stilted “Provide proper contact codes for Richy. Please. Also to confirm: you will be paid for tonight”
To the team he sends <<Let’s get out of here ASAP, their minders may be of mind to have words with us for this. Hotel security might let them in, if their employers are bribing them well enough. Al, can you provide pick-up at the west side exit in four minutes?>>
As soon as the women were out of the room Preston returned to meat space, and he was watching the door camera as Becky swiftly clothed herself.
