As Al had neatly trumped Becky’s argument for cold blooded execution Lily didn’t feel the need to point out that they had this conversation at the outset and she wasn’t going to let such a thing happen willingly. She didn’t doubt that Becky had seen her reflexive reach for the pistol lodged in the small of her back but she hadn’t drawn it and Becky seemed content not to escalate the conflict further.
