Meet Becky my beginner missionist mage and follower of Dove.
Have not written her story but is a street grown young adult that follows Christ.
Helping unfortunate and running the only clinic which is truly free. She is also in debit to the local crimelord as she borrowed money for medical supplies and she is not keen of taking money from the people who needs her the most.She descends to the shadow to pay for her loan which she understand will never pay itself. Here is the crunch, I hope that she is a good fit to this game. I tried to create a runner which is making her first steps as a criminal (there are no saints in the 5th world), oh and she drives well for an unaugmented non rigger 😉

Posted some deep backstory on Forty, on the Dumpshock IC thread (what went down over forty years ago, that led to her time in prison). Should I eventually bring that over here too, or only the more ‘in the present’ material?

As long as you only count the post once I’ve no problem with it being here in this IC as it sets the scene nicely. But equally it can just stay on DS.

Alright, remade my char (Becky Jones) and story, made her an adept with magic 2, shortly after awakening. (and a Dryad).
Next is to come up with 40 points of extra contacts and expand the ones from chargen.

Aria, want to make a quick check on something. FA allows starting spells to be used to buy the magical qualities from FA (5 karma worth per spell converted this way). Just wanted to check that you are good with that.
(what I’m planning on going for is 99% enabler of backstory and suchlike — the quality where Thunderbird really like her, and at the season changes may help her learn something — karma cost still applies I’m sure. I’d never quite mapped out how she learned her smidgen of alchemy, and this would cover it. But it is also precedent for others, and there are some pretty powerful qualities in there).

Does this permit greater than 25 points of qualities to be bought? I guess it probably does in which case just highlight it and we’ll check on a case by case basis.

I think that these have to be counted in the 25point cap on qualities at creation. (And they don’t cost double later on, so better to take the regular ones first if you hitting up against the max. But for a mysad there is not so many karma points available for qualities, so this gets more interesting.

I decided to make them their own characters so that others can use them as well.

Yes, thats me. No idea, it just took first and last name and connected them. Then when I understood that the forum worked like that and changed them to gilga. It did not change back, but yes I did some serious effort for this game I hope we have fun.
