Put up an IC post. Wrote it earlier today not knowing how the intro scene would go, so pardon the awkward transition near the end where I shift from where I ended the scene to having Al arrive at the meet.
I don’t really understand things like links, but my sheet is on Obsidian Portal, link at the top of the page.

First IC post is up.
I usually write in the present tense but this one bounces back and forth between the past and the present to describe how she finds herself in Texas. Long story short, she went to Denver on a shopping trip and found out about the job there.

Ichante summons an F7 guardian spirit before going inside: Magic 7 + Summoning 6 + Spec 2 + Power Focus 2: 17d6t5 9 hits, good start, but capped at 7 hits by Force.
Spirit resist summoning: Force 7: 7d6t5 1 hit Ooo, a nice subservient one! 6 services total.
Soaking 2 drain: Willpower 6 + Intuition 6: 12d6t5 6 hits, no drain
Optional powers are Concealment and Elemental Attack (Lightning), although she’s tempted to ask for Animal Control because Arms’ probably has rats.
For good measure she’ll also spin up an Increase Charisma spell at F4: Magic 7 + Spellcasting 6 + Power Focus 2: 15d6t5 3 hits, Charisma is now 3 (6), sustained via Heightened Concentration
Soaking 2S drain: Willpower 6 + Intuition 6: 12d6t5 1 hit, ahh, luck finally gave out. She takes 1 box of Stun.
Because she wasn’t expecting to work, Ichante doesn’t have a lot of her gear available. Here’s what she has at the meet:

@Tecumseh the OP coding you asked for is on a hidden tab on the excel character generator I linked… hope that helps.
NPCs usually get a post in the ‘contacts’ section on the OP wiki, so if you could link it in to an appropriate section with a character link that would be fab. Shout if that sounds like gibberish and I’ll sort it for you!

I’ll be making a tweak on negative qualities as soon as I have some time to dig through books. I’d mis-clicked on his phobia as common rather than uncommon, so I’ll fix that and find a few more points elsewhere.

@Jack I did not know how to rebuild her in prime, as there is no way to have more than ‘A’ skills, and I envision her picking up a few new skills over the years. So instead I just dumped a bunch of karma to bring her from normal to prime sum to 4. (about 400). Did not optimize her, but made her a bit more effective as muscle/face.

Sorry for long Preston post. After over a year away from him it was just so fun to dust him off that I may have gone overboard on details and the voices — I’ll try to tone that down going forward.
The gist of the post is that he’d been there earlier than his IC sequence would suggest. But between blandness and disguise (and not being awakened) he just didn’t stand out to anyone coming in earlier.
Just for continuity reasons: Preston got to know Mercy’s character Lady Tanya Marisart quite well in Tangled Currents (2075, I think). Had she worked with Al or Jazz by that point? (that he may have heard of them).

At one point I added a “Player Secret” to outline some of the character development I see happening, and tried to make that visible to you, but now I don’t even see it myself.Also, the map link in the first OOC post doesn’t work well for me. (The map is greyed out.) Here’s a map of North America that’s built on top of Google Maps that does a dynamite job of showing national borders. I thought that might be useful for our purposes:

If my dates are correct, Tanya did not meet Al until after Tangled Currents.

ETA: Adam, your phrasing of “revealed himself as a player” just gave me an idea for a one-shot I’ll probably never run … Any of you ever read A Night in the Lonesome October, by Roger Zelazney? 😀 (in which Jack the Ripper’s dog narrates their efforts to save the world)
