Beta, I’m not disagreeing at all. My personal interpretation is not far from yours. For example, I require barriers to be grounded (so no flying barriers), even though the rules don’t demand it. I’ve had similar issues with Magic Fingers, namely how fast can you move something that you’re holding with the spell. The rules don’t really address it, so the GM decides what’s reasonable and things proceed.
