@Electric_Muppet the now visible gun in Addie’s hands has some kind of underbarrel squirt gun…what’s the betting there’s Blight in there?
-
No chem seal on this armour. She not enjoying the no magic side if life. Capsules good /spray bad.
She’s got armourer 1 so fiddly fiddle fiddle time ? -
@Gilga OoC I can tell you Gossamer is who she says she is, and a shadow matrix search should yield that intel… of course she isn’t offering any proof that it is Gossamer talking to you!
As to the Choir, can’t remember if they were mentioned at the briefing for this thread… other than that I’m not sure Becky would have heard of them…
-
No time to go back an search right now, but I’m pretty sure either Silk or Weaver told all of us at the beginning of breaking in here that they were turning the decking support over to Gossamer….
EDIT – nope, sorry, that was Aria and Summer that were going to help Weaver with waking kids up….
And the half-sister of Silk is Spriggan – but I am pretty sure Al has never met her at all.

Just to let you all know, I heard from forrest today. He is on the mend

Great news!
@Aria I don’t recall a ‘Charlotte’ in Run!. On the other hand I think that there may have been a mis-understanding around your first post and ‘Aria’ was assumed to be a Run!ner when I don’t know if that was the intent, so possibly that was actually Charlotte? Anyway my question is does Addie know any of the kids who go by Charlotte? (now that she has so blithely promised to find her) In Run! she made a point of getting to know all of the kids that she could, and I imagine she would have taken the same approach in other sims.

Torrent is being a bit ‘Bond villain’ and laying out all their plans… let’s just apply a bit of suspension of disbelief as I don’t think he’d really tell you this but why let a good plan go to waste?? 😀
-
…and Charlie is laying the ground work for a starting SR6 character (just in case) so try not to get her killed please 🙂
-
Got the first pieces of ed6 beginning of the week
Interesting ut to cut down to make a real judgement -
I know people are moaning about it but I think I like the sound of the new edge mechanism…
-
I thought you would hate it, given how parsimonious you are with it I like it too and the new drain me h’is neat, bye bye marks in hacking, you will not be missed
-
Nah, edge is completely different, and I won’t feel guilty about NPCs using it ?
-
Well – I haven’t read it yet, and not interested in previewing it bit by bit – my order is in at the FLGS and they assure me I’ll have a hard copy as soon as anyone else in London.
But I have a pretty bad feeling based on what I’ve heard.
First – Jason Hardy still at the helm. Hated everything he’s done with the game since he first appeared on the scene with some crap novel. I hope never to remember the name of.
Second – it sounds like they are going for a really awful mix of crunch and diceless.
They SAY “we’ve already got Anarchy so we’re not making another Anarchy”. But then they talk about all this simplification and streamlining, which, if not done with great skill, equates simply to dumbing down.
In this campaign, we’ve had a lot of fun and success with both diceless and refereed scenes/games.
But the biggest problems we’ve had have come up in scenes were we tried to mix objective rules with subjective storytelling.
And I’m afraid that’s exactly the sort of poisonout hybrid they are going for in SR6 – a worst-of-both-worlds robbing the game of the Clarity of Crunch and also the Simplicity of Storytelling. But I could well be wrong, and hope that I am.
