Does anyone have Dark Terrors? I would like to know if it would be of use to me for Sian, my vampire immortal character. I will buy it if others think it be good.

Dark Terrors is primarily fluff. There almost nothing in it for PCs, with the exception of Infected PCs. It sounds like that might actually be relevant in this case.
In addition to Optional Powers (largely detailed in SR5 and Run Faster), Infected now have access to three dozen “Advanced Optional Powers”. Most of these are new to Dark Terrors, but a handful are from Howling Shadows.
There are also three new Infected qualities, plus a couple metamagics specific to the Infected and/or blood magic.
The rest of the book is mostly fluff, more relevant to GMs (and players who want to stay on top of things).

Gladius ist a Psionic tradition Mage, think power blade, levitation, lightning bolt and increased reflexes + taskspirits to emulate necessary skills 😉

Looks good for Tanya. Her combatant skill is mostly close range, with the exception of a dart pistol. She has no long range capability, so someone else will need to fill that hole.

I’m working on it every time I get a minute to work on character building. The group is already loaded up on magic and charismatic women, so while taking Forty, doubling her skill points and then adding a couple of initiations looks wonderfully terrifying*, I’m trying to make Danzig work out as a first choice. (Also considering just sitting this one out and picking up the next game, that might be easiest when there are already six others in here)
Danzig’s concept is a mellow and charming smuggler with a drug for every situation (somewhere between Marid from ‘When Gravity Fails’ and Hans Solo, then turned into a weathered sailor). I was really hoping to have him afford a Corsair Panther (the stealth catamaran), but it turns out that putting 135k nY into a toy has impacts on the build. Who’d have thunk it? First thought was he’d be human, but mundane humans have no use for metatype above C or magic above E, which in sum to 14 would put the other three areas all at A. Currently working on dwarf builds*, looking at whether I’m happier with dropping skills or resources to B.
* and honestly loving the visuals of a weathered dwarf at the helm of a sailboat.I honestly probably won’t be decided until Wednesday evening (family things going on tonight, so I doubt I get to play with trade-offs to see if I can make Danzig vaguely useful). Let me know if that delay is a real problem.

A smuggler with a sailboat could be a useful contact for Tanya. She is always looking for a new way to get her acquired objects out of Seattle to another market.

@Mercy I was actually thinking that Danzig might know Tanya. In my mind he has been in and out of the Seattle scene for some time, and has a few things sufficiently in common with Tanya that it just seems likely that they would have crossed paths somewhere. Or possibly he’d mostly know Monique, who would have done a lot of the arrangements?

That would make sense, yes. Monique is a great help to Tanya in that sort of thing. Tanya and Danzig may have met for drinks or something to seal the deal. Sp, are you thinking this has been just a one-time thing or perhaps she has sent several deals his way? It could be a friendly business relationship.

It would help me enormously if the PCs all know at least one other if not two other PCs so you can vouch for each other… sounds like that is more or less in hand so not too worried but mentioning it for the new PCs coming in to the mix!
Not that I want PCs targeted for a specific run but this one will start off as investigative, probably with some B&E thrown in… not sure if that helps much but there you go ?
