@Aria – got your note on Al will encounter some mage.
So, as I said, I’ve just gotten to the point where Ulrich wanted me to make a hole, but (besides fluff) have not made the Demolitions action yet.
I’ll throw up my Initiative and then wait to hear from you who goes first or what happens.

I’ll go with that, and IC her finding the body and checking it out, but hold before absconding with the gun — Aria you had implied that there could be something going on with that solider still.ETA: I added a matrix perception check during the IC: matrix perception: 6d6t5 3. I assumed that the soldier is running either matrix off or matrix silent, and if the latter that his gear is protected by a strong enough firewall that 3 successes won’t spot anything.

In an RP sense, Al is sure glad someone is taking care of all those kids.
But goodness, maybe don’t give up on getting back to help us – we’re really struggling here –
Sadly, have not heard from Mercy for a while (and i hope things are not bad), but Ichante and Becky could really turn the tide.
The breach is sealed, but working hard on getting it back open again….

Second on what Adam said, and adding that they really haven’t been gone for long and the kids collectively probably are not moving very fast given that many have no form of low-light or thermographic vision. So the PC should be able to make it back quickly. You could even IC it as “when matrix traffic cut off from within the complex, X had gotten worried and hurried back, only to find the breach now sealed over.”

@Adamu I thought Al might need a bit more righteous anger, and Addie is all about strong emotions. Possibly treat her comments as a leadership roll to pump Al up? I don’t remember the options off the top of my head, but here is the roll:

As you’ve missed about 4 actions from the mage before your mana barrier it might not go entirely your way ??

Nope: Damaging: Manipulation spells that cause damage have a Damage Value equal to their Force (unaltered by hits on the Spellcasting test) and 0 AP. The damage is resisted with Body + Armor.
As for the mage’s actions: I hope Batshit does keep him distracted 😀
