I thought the attack sequence was good. Of course, you only killed the blimp, meaning that the gunner and his support team are still out there.

Eh, with hotsim and a F12 Ball Lightning + Dumpshock there will be quite a bit of biofeedback for the jumped in rigger – probably not dead, but severely damaged 😀
In any case this will be reason enough to delay the meeting

Hi folks, sadly I’m throwing in the towel. Aria, sorry to have reserved a spot, only to flake out just as things are starting. Everyone else, sorry to miss the cool stories I’m sure you are all going to make.
Life distractions kept me from really thinking about a character in May, and now I just can’t seem to make a character that I’m interested in playing and which has the capacity to play in these leagues…. and I just don’t have the available time to grind it out and I’m already behind the IC, and I just don’t see that side of things getting better anytime soon. So between lack of inspiration and lack of time to commit to the game, it is best to step aside.
I’d been looking forward to this very different game, but I should have realized that with my preference for punks and barrens rats rats and the like, that finding a character that engaged me was going to be a real challenge, and I needed to have gotten more invested in that earlier. I’m sorry I’ll be missing the game, and sorry again for dropping at the last minute.

@Beta Sorry to hear that, I don’t think you are behind on the IC, just couldn’t restrain Mercy and Jack any longer, but the only posts that are actively driving the IC are my 4…so far…but if you’re not feeling the love then there’s no point flogging it! If you change your mind you are welcome to step in at any time.
I am planning a prequel / low level runner game (which I was going to run on SG but that still isn’t back so will do here now)…set in 2070 ish…may be more your cup of tea? Either green or down on their luck runners, standard Sum10…

Absolutely in on the lower level game — my only question on that one is which character to play 🙂
And I make take a long step back on character creation for SoP, worry less about being mechanically good, and see if I can get a character to talk to me. Might come up with someone that fits in around the edges.

@Aria – as you know, I also am up for the prequel game.
Time is tight, so just let me know when you need the sheet by, and I’ll try to get it up on OP by then.Also, the message that Silk sends to “runners that could help” – not sure what your story plans are – is Al included in that mailing list?

@Adamu Prequel is up for recruitment on DS and here too of course… Breath of Summer…no rush on a sheet, couple of weeks or so before we start an IC and I’m not even terribly worried if you haven’t got it sorted by then!
Al could well have been on that list, I was deliberately vague so that you can decide. Also Alyce has given him an ‘in’ with her call about attacks in London

It looks like Silk sent her message out on March 19 and Alyce sent hers to Al on march 20 at about noon or so. I am going to post that Alyce has received the message from Silk but has not had time to respond to it until noon on the 20th.

Yeah, I’ll also factor in the timezone differences and work out Al’s responses (assuming sober when messages received) in the proper order.

Assuming sober? Good one. Feel free to let Alyce down about the dinner thing. She is just trying to get him to go someplace and set up a tablet for a modern day sort of Skype thing. He might be busy.

OK. I wrote Sian being sent to Marrakech, Morocco by her Great Dragon master. I will have her arriving outside of the town at about 2000 local, where she will pick up a desert vehicle, complete with a driver, guard, and enough food, water, and fuel for a couple of weeks. Let me know what time Vindariel will be there.
Or anyone else, for that matter.

Hm, from Essen to Marrakech it’s about 3300 km, assuming transport with a S-K version of a Banshee for super sonic speed, Vindariel will arrive about 3 hours later, get a car and arrive around noon.

So he will be on the ground several hours before Sian arrives at about 2000. She will need to spend some time at the oasis getting her things together and drive to the site, so maybe 2100 or so. I will have to play it by ear as to what is going on when she gets there.

@Adamu: don’t want to tread on your toes by forcing you one way or the other… assume you got Silks plea for help and then half an hour or so later Alyce’s… ah to be torn between helping two beautiful women!!! Hollywood may have to wait???

My brother has been using the computer a lot lately. He’s a teacher and he’s looking for summer work so I’m stuck to using my phone a lot right now. Large posts are difficult under these circumstances.
