Well, there are the four Shadow Handbooks. But you will be out of luck – Sunday in Germany means all stores are closed. Also, you’d likely need to find a pretty dedicated gaming store to have those stocked.

Mato has Business (Finance) knowledge skill at 5 (7), so I suppose that puts him in prime position to identify it as a front, although I’m at a bit of a loss about how to have him figure it out. I might just be blunt about it. I’m not 100% clear how transparent AM was about her contact or her possible connections. So I might be a bit ambiguous/obtuse about what Mato knows.
As for Perception, Mato has a many options with many modifiers, which can be a bit a bit of a chore. Let me roll a couple base perception rolls and note potential bonuses.
Base roll: Intuition 6 + Perception 5: 11d6t5 4 hits
Potential bonuses:
Vision: Vision Enhancement 3 + Vision specialization 2: 5d6t5 4 hits, which I believe exceeds his Limit.
Audio: Audio Enhancement 2: 2d6t5 1 hits
Smelling: Olfactory Sensors 4: 4d6t5 2 hitsFinal tally:
Base Perception: 4 hits
Visual: 9 hits but LImited to 8 hits (Limit 8 from Mental 5 + Vision Enhancement 3)
Audio: 5 hits (Limit 5)
Smelling: 6 hits but Limited to 5 hits (Olfactory Boosters don’t appear to boost Limit, so Mental Limit 5 applies)I’m also going to roll his cyberware scanner, which is the same as a millimeter wave detection system, and should be able to detect some oddities:
Cyberware Scanner R5: 5d6t5 2 hits
Okay, good. Per p. 362 of SR5 that’s enough to detect weapons, alphaware (should the walls, you know, have ears), and the hopelessly ambiguous “other items”. Range is 15 meters.
In addition, Mato also has the Radar Sensors from Chrome Flesh, which allow him to see through walls and see if there are cavaties, anomalies, etc. There aren’t any dice pools associated with this in the rule book. I suppose it would be the same as a base Perception test in many ways, so I’ll just continue to leverage the 4 hits from above.
Mato also has an R6 bug scanner. I can’t remember if AM can duplicate this functionality via her deck. Either way, the base Attribute is Logic so one of the two Logic 5 PCs should use it instead of Mato.
Edit: Thinking about it some more, if the Perception rolls aren’t overkill already, Teamwork tests could raise our Limit.

For the money laundering: Mato knows that the Mafia likes to buy art at inflated prices from itself, running huge amounts of cash and dirty transactions through the gallery, where they receive for their own pieces clean, all taxes paid money back.Base perception allows you to pick up on the effect of the magic tendrils – giving Mato a chill when he steps through them.

MonaLisa adds +2 to Computer (Matrix Search) + Logic tests.Also, Mato’s Intuition is 6 so AM would have to overcast to boost his Intuition, and at a significant modifier due to his massive Essence loss.

Not sure how you treat the astral, and whether Mato’s fairly specific hand motions may or may not translate to an astral viewer. -

I tried to place an IC – but it seems to disappear.
I rolled improve logic dropping improve intuition then did a matrix search for the painting.
Also reported the finding to the team. – anyone else has similar issues? -

The rolls are on orokos, I cannot post them. Any time I try the post vanishes. 25 hits so far on computer search and +4logic no drain.

I’m having the same issue as gilga as far as not being able to post. I tried logging out and logging back in and posting from my phone. The difference seems to be removing the direct link to the Orokos rolls, along with the http:// in front of orokos.com.
