I went along with it, but if Lilly is already on the other boat, even at 67km/h + the speed of the other boat, Rebbeca is unlikely to get into range in time to make a difference. Hopefully, Lilly would either wait for Rebbeca to get into bow range – or use the distraction.

Jack Rebbeca has thermal damping R6. Not to say that she would not be visible through thermal vision – but it should be just as hard as with regular vision.

FYI: The RCC is running silent and is by now 2 km away, so you are looking at Noise 3 for distance and a 4 static zone
To find the RCC you need to beat a threshold of 3If you do:

As when I shot at the boat – using the scope to cut range, then can center 11 dice worth of boat motion or whatever other penalties.
Four aims – one to use scope, the other three for extra dice.
I suppose these things might have more defense than the inflatable did, so will provide rolls.

So about 12 seconds go by or four Rounds while the drones fly at high speed towards your boat. Luckily for you, they need to get close to 60 m before they can engage. At 120km/h they need a full minute to close to the ship.
i.e. You’ve still got a chance to take them down, but now they are closing in on full defense with 14 defense dice. -
Ok, 7 noise, threshold 3 to find the RCC.
stack up 6 points of noise reduction from datajack, vectored signal filter, and run signal scrub program. Go in hot sim for the +2 dice, -3 for noise, leaves him at net 11 dice
spot RCC: 11d6t5 3Was that a threshold to hit, or to exceed?
If that works, then try marking the RCC. It has base firewall 9+1 from mod, +1 from Encryption =11. Will 6, total 17 dice to resist. Preston has base 15+2 from hot sim, but again -1 noise, so 16 dice. Bit of a toss up, but let’s see

Then back to hotsim, to try and hack drones as they get closer. Closer should start dropping noise, so let’s guess he’s hitting some when the noise to them is 6, balancing his noise reduction. Still protected by the RCC, as I understand it
