She speaks Martian accent, very clear and no nazal sound due to the breather tubes you have to put up your nose to get oxygen

But we probably imagined different things while describing and possibly crossposting -
I imagine that we have done just as Jack has said, but there might have been a lot of confusion in such an incident and different people would have different ideas of what happened. I believe that all of the living, both injured and not injured, are now out of the shuttle.

And you’re only a few hundred meters from the shore so I’m guessing Alyce’s Inability to see it is due to the range on her artificial sensors???

That would be correct. I believe that the range of both the radar and ultrasound sensors is less than that. The description of the radar indicates a 20m radius and that of the ultrasound does not list a radius but I cannot see it going out far enough to see the shore. Am I correct?

Yes ? … but everyone around you can see it fine and if you deploy a drone with visual sensors and a range finder you’ll be able to see it too!

I could do a drone, yes, but she is fighting against her fears of being lost in the ocean and is trying to cope by focusing on helping others.

All good, waves are a bit rough, not a great place to be launching delicate drones!

Talking from practical experience of the those waters. We can see the cliffs if we are 200 metres from the shore. Getting ashore is going to be character building.
